     Ed is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who spent the last half of his career as an acquisition program manager.  This job helped develop skills in outlining the steps required in bringing an idea through the development process and into reality.  Kathy is a schoolteacher turned kitchen designer.  She has an Associates degree in architectural technology from Sinclair College in Dayton, OH.  This combination of talent is hard to beat by any log home representative.

     We believe that purchasing a log home is a great adventure.  Knowledge and planning are the keys to success.  The many choices available today among log home manufacturers and builders make the selection and building process a complicated task.  Many log home manufacturers work from one or two central locations.  This approach limits personal contact and also limits their knowledge.  Building in New Hampshire, although not difficult, requires an ability to work with the local governments in that each town has unique requirements.  Failure to understand these requirements can lead to needless expense.  In addition to understanding unique code requirements, a general education into the building process and the specific advantages of Kuhns Bros. product can best be achieved through personal contact with a local representative.

We are here to provide assistance in the following:

Planning: Planning is one of the most important phases of log home ownership. We will help you through the entire planning process to include electric and plumbing locations, building site suggestions, heating system options, and even color suggestions.

Financing: In the early days of the industry, obtaining financing for your log home was one of the more difficult tasks. This is no longer the case. We have many financial institutions that specialize in log home loans. Not only are they log home friendly, but some will allow you to be your own general contractor or your own builder.

Construction: Informing you of the options available to you from having a general contractor complete your home or we are here to walk you through the process of being your own general contractor by:

• Assisting on delivery day to unload and inventory your materials package, we also provide the construction grade plastic to help protect your investment during construction
